At the Edge of the Unknown

"At the Edge of the Unknown" is a study painting that I did in order to see if it would work to make it into a larger version. The reference comes from a site in the Santa Fe area. Its strength lies in the abstracted shapes and the simplicity of its hues - my goal is to convey the essence of a place rather than depict a scene.

This painting is framed in a walnut colored metal floater frame, equipped with a hanging wire and ready to hang.
